Hi Guys

My frnd is using airtel landline.Today he received his bill,n in d call details dere were 2 calls whch neither he nor did any1 frm his family ever made.1 cal was 2 a no. in Ghaziabad n another 2 a mobile in Delhi.He called Customer Care n dey said dat d computer double checks every billing account n it cant be wrong,so dey cant do anything.He also received a Free Speed Upgrade pamphlet,d offer whch is not even valid in our state,abt dat d customer guy said dat it must hav cum by mistake.D amt to dose 2 calls is rs.15,my frnd checked d wire from d airtel box or watever it is outside is home,n it was intact,dere's no chance dat any1 did sumthin dere.

Now he wants to now,will he be in any trouble if d nos. r misused or sumthin?Can sumthin else be done?

Better to tell the police about the same, Dont take any chance

get a modem or router protector, my ISP provides it for free...hope airtel does too or jus simply ask em wot u can do when some1 uses ur bandwidth or connection for distant calls...gud luck

I think their children or family member dial the wrong numbers but they blaming the phone company. Just tell them to pay the bill and put the phone away from the children.

On wat basis shd he complaint d cops?

Bro he aint using wi-fi,hes accessin net wid d wires n stuff.Airtel ppl say d calls were made frm ur no. onli

i hd d same issue wid reliance landline........initially ignored it but it increased..so disconnected the line

arey bol na ki ye tera hi problem hai.....y r u telling tat ur frnd has this problem ?? :P

neways...its not a big deal...if such thing happens again then u can contact d cops or just disconnect d line

My fone bill is perfectly fine
